You only need to do something with smurfs and account sellers. This is a great game, good balanced, good optimized, fun and hard. I won't throw crap and then say "you suck, Valve". I'm not joining back Dota (and my friends quitted with me also) until matchmaking is seriously reworked.
They are smurfing because in 5k mmr they can't beat 7k smurfs. When I tell them "WP, are you smurf?" They always answer "yes, I am, ez game btw". I cannot play one single game (that is not low priority or pub) that is not against smurfs. This different thing is what is making me QUIT and REMOVING DOTA: I was always a 2k trash and after rejoining the game I got the same mmr than before so I was OK for me. I quitted for 2 years, then I got back to Dota but something was different, Dota was faster than before but I was able to get quite fast into meta. Playing mid for the rest of my dota time. I remember my first pub stomp as Earth Shaker. I remember playing bots and transitioning from bots to pubs. I remember playing it for first time in 2012 or 2013.
